I ´m Maria!

As the oldest of four children, I left my very comfortable upbringing in my home country at 19, driven to create a life of success and adventure. The mountains I had to climb at that early age, traveling and migrating alone, built grit and strength in me that served me a lot, but also hurt me. My journey took me across England and the U.S., shaping my love for people and their cultures. By 30, I was a thriving event sales executive managing million-dollar accounts across the globe. Still, behind the scenes, I was burned out, with hormonal levels so unbalanced that I entered early perimenopause, and with deep emotional fatigue.

Following in my researcher parents' footsteps, I pursued years of study in health and human behavior, only to discover that burnout isn’t a clear-cut diagnosis or a problem with a simple fix. It’s a symptom of deeper, often hidden stress wounds. This led me to train as a holistic health coach, yoga and breathwork teacher, somatic therapist, and pursue a Master's in mental health counseling. Along the way of my own healing, I became a fierce advocate for self-aware women leaders who give everything to their work and loved ones, while quietly running on empty. I know their path, because I’ve walked it too. I understand what is beneath multicultural high achievers, caregivers, and visionaries, often pouring themselves at the cost of their own well-being. I also know their struggles finding a solution because it has been hidden from plain sight.

Today, as a Somatic Burnout and Resilience Coach, I help women experiencing peak-of-career burnout address it at its roots, within the nervous system and unconscious survival patterns. I support inner peace-seeking women in leadership, helping them navigate success without sacrificing their health or relationships. This work is about building emotional capacity, metabolizing stress, and restoring connection so women can embody resilience, joy, and vitality.

Outside work, I recharge through nature, hiking, gardening, ocean swims, and by returning to inner practices like yoga, meditation, and, more recently, tennis and even singing lessons. I love to move my body, but I also cherish true rest, the kind that looks like “doing nothing” but feels like everything. I can enjoy these moments now because I’ve learned to feel at home in my body and its emotions. That sense of inner resilience is the real reward of this work.

My dream is for women from all backgrounds to stop choosing between achievement and well-being. When we learn to listen to our bodies, we get solutions that logic and analysis alone can't reach. I strive to help others enjoy the power and flow of this whole-body intelligence. My motto is, "Learn to feel it to heal it." As we transform from productivity units to emotionally intelligent beings, we heal ourselves and the world, creating a new success paradigm and relationships we love.
